This is a different darning method than I normally use. The result looks very nice though.

This is the first bobbin of leicester longwool singles for my #sca a&s project. When plied, it’ll be sock yarn
This is this morning’s lace-weight spinning. I decided yesterday’s didn’t have enough twist, so I spun it back onto the bobbin a bit tighter then joined and spun a bunch more. There’s 29yd total. After I’ve set the twist, I can lucet it and have lacing for my dresses. Since it’s wool, it’ll be gentler on my eyelets than the hemp.

All yarn is hand-dyed by myself on a sturdy 75% wool, 25% nylon sock-weight base. The yarn is superwash, but minimal bleeding is possible due to the hand-dyed nature of the yarn, so caution is urged when washing. All dyes are food-safe ;-)
Unfortunately, there are RULES:
-I’ll ship anywhere in the world.
-must REBLOG to enter, likes don’t count
-but no more than five (5) reblogs, more will get you disqualified.
-you don’t have to be following me :-) but feel free to if you want information on future shop updates!

Pretties! Someday I’ll have a backyard and a cauldron, and I’ll be able to do natural dyeing.
