Tonight I suddenly realized that I own a dress form, and this can be useful for things other than making dresses. Consequently, my Etsy shop now has lots of new photos that look way better than the old ones!
Also, have I mentioned that I love having learned that my camera has manual white balance as an option?
I just finished this lace shrug. I started crocheting it a year and a half ago, but the pattern was so poorly written / incorrect (and published in a book! and my errata submissions ignored…) that I put it aside. I finally finished it this weekend.
It’s the Trinity Lace Shrug from Crochet Gifts, done in Classic Elite Alpaca Sox.

My first sweater on Flickr.
I cast on for this on 15 Feb and finished 12 March.

Akoya cardigan pattern by Carol Feller

The buttons have flowers
The first three pairs of socks I knit. These were all done between Thanksgiving 2011 and February 2012. The white ones are alpaca/bamboo, and the others are wool. So much warmer than the cotton tube socks I’ve been wearing for years! Knitting my own wool socks is clearly a thing that must continue.
Tonight I cast on for my first sweater. Black fingering weight alpaca. Very soft.
